ABB establishes Mozambique office

Multinational power and automation technology company ABB has set up offices in Mozambique, according to a Business Day report.
Recent oil and gas discoveries in Mozambique have made the country a focus for major oil and gas companies and ABB is therefore positioning itself to take advantage of potential opportunities in the market.
"The country has a wealth of natural resources and considerable hydropower capabilities. It is already a net exporter of electricity and is expected to play a pivotal role in power trade," said ABB.
“Having a local presence will enable the organisation to more efficiently engage with its customers in Mozambique," the company added.
